TO THE MOON will be produced digitally with all work being conducted online. Travel to Creede, CO will not be required for any position.

Stage manager for To the Moon, a fierce and tender docu-drama about domestic abuse. Almost 200 survivors contributed stories that shaped this script; knowing that such abuse impacts people from all walks of life, five diverse women collaborated to interview survivors and distribute surveys. Playwright Beth Kander weaves these survivors’ stories into a tough and moving play, documenting and dramatizing the traffic realities of domestic abuse in America.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Lead and schedule rehearsals for ‘To The Moon”, an online production, using Zoom or other online video conference software.
o Shall assemble and maintain the Prompt Book which is defined as the accurate playing text and stage business, together with such cue sheets, plots, daily records, etc., as are necessary for the actual technical and artistic operation of the production.
o Shall be responsible for the calling of all rehearsals.
o Keep such records as are necessary to advise CRT’s Managing Director on matters of attendance, overtime, and/or other matters relating to the rights of Equity members.
o Maintain discipline as provided in the Equity Constitution, By-Laws and Rules where required, appealable in every case to Equity.
o Communicate with Designers, Director of Production, and EDI Representative about rehearsal and production needs to ensure quality and safety.
o Be present at all assigned performances and perform agree upon role to the best of their ability.
o Attend all design/production meetings and any other meeting as requested by the Artistic Director or Director of Production within Equity hours.
o Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor that should be necessary to meet the needs of CRT and your department, within the scope of the then-prevailing Equity Agreement.
Preferred Qualifications or Transferable Skills
o Minimum of four years of stage management experience. Preferably two years as a member of Actors Equity Association.
o Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
o Have the ability to use Microsoft Office and other office software.
o Familiarity with online platforms such as Zoom and Streamyard.
o Have demonstrated leadership experience and be willing to work with a diverse team of professionals.
o Demonstrated a willing to work and create in a respectful, inclusive and fast paced environment. o Must have access to a reliable computer and internet connection.
