Our Concierge is an essential member of our Parlor team.  In this hospitality focused position, you will be the face of our luxury beauty and wellness center, located in Nomad at 160 Madison Avenue. Our Concierge will provide hotel-style service to our guests and members. This is an exciting front-facing position that requires poise, polish and a passion for delivering a high touch customer experience!

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact- Greet and check in our members and their guests at the front desk, conduct tours and collect prospective new member/client data as directed by The Parlor.

  • Provide warm, thoughtful, solution-oriented customer service.

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of all member beauty and wellness services, and be able to answer questions accordingly. Make recommendations and schedule appointments. 

  • Uphold company culture at all times while making guests feel welcomed and valued.

  • Maintain the beauty of our space.

  • Perform basic administrative and customer service duties: responding to email inquiries, delivering messages, accepting/ delivering packages, answer phone etc

  • Maintain common areas/coffee bar in accordance with the standards set forth by The Parlor.

  • Provide high-volume hospitality and service during events and business hours.

  • Assist with managing an efficient flow of service

  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of events.

  • Assist with building operations and maintenance 

  • Identify issues for escalation to management and document accordingly.

  • Monitor security and safety of building.

  • Assist with enforcing “House Rules” as needed with tactfulness and hospitality.

  • Prior experience in a hospitality, salon, retail, or customer service role.

  • Willingness to work weekends and some holidays.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Gmail, Google Calendar, Excel, and social media platforms such as Instagram.  

  • Must be able to provide at least 15 hours of availability per week with a set schedule of Sunday and Monday.
