Casting for BLACKBLADE – an audio fantasy narrative
The Queens of the East are on a desperate, violent search for their youngest sister who robbed them of their powers. In the onslaught, fear and despair are ascendent. Innocent lives are lost. Fires rage everywhere. After thirty long years, this vicious witch hunt reaches its climax in a tavern with its own history of violence.
Told in four episodes from varying viewpoints, this new play features a vibrant cast of characters in a world wracked with power struggles and environmental crisis.
SEEKING: A non-binary POC actor for the role of Lu.
LU: an orphan; a youthful spirit, but a wielder of great magic power; a survivor of terrible violence.
