Windish Music & Productions (WMP) is seeking a full-time Music Manager to join our world-class team.
Who We Are:
WMP is a live entertainment company that produces shows by casting talent, creating content, and executing performances for theme parks, cruise lines, and other venues to enhance audience experiences.
Reports to Entertainment Manager. Music Manager will focus on overseeing and executing logistics and creative details for attractions and cruise ship clients. Music Manager will also oversee teams of performers for each project.
Music Manager will be responsible for many projects at multiple venues.
Oversee and coordinate rehearsal scheduling, studio scheduling, and all performer logistics.
Oversee directors and performers throughout the rehearsal process. Act as director of select shows as needed.
Conduct rehearsals in studio, and onsite at various venues on land and at sea.
Coordinate and manage daily scheduling with venue staff and management.
Confirm and document the condition of all equipment, wardrobe, instruments, scenic, props, and show accessories. Coordinate any necessary repairs, shipments, or replacements as needed.
Provide administrative support for staff, performers, and directors, at all venues on land and at sea.
Report to Entertainment Manager, meeting deadlines for all parts of production and client interaction.
Willingness to relocate within commutable distance to West Chester, PA.
Casting: Schedule, promote, and facilitate in-person and video auditions. Work with our casting team for live auditions, scouting talent for all projects.
Performer Acquisition: Make casting offers for shows; negotiate performer salary, send pre-hire and show packets to each incoming performer. Maintain and distribute detailed paperwork for new hires.
Content Creation: Work with WMP office staff and design team to create and manage show elements including, but not limited to, Sound Design, Audio Track Creation, Screen Content, Music Selection, Scripting, Promotional Materials.
Systemization: Work with WMP staff to create standard procedures for assets and materials.
Travel Coordination: Oversee travel for performers and staff to/from rehearsal, venue, and ship/port.
Supervision & Management: Responsible for supervising show installs and rehearsals; including but not limited to design/tech elements, lighting, creating show schedules, digital content, music and sound. Implementing necessary changes as instructed by the client and/or WMP.
Travel: Expect a heavy travel schedule of up to 75% of the year, both domestic and international. Often working weekend and evening hours to match the schedule of venues and clients.
In-Office: Work at office in West Chester, PA, when not traveling, working normal office hours with WMP staff.
Sales: Bonuses apply when bringing more work opportunities to the company.
Degree in Music or comparable experience working in industry.
Experience with and appreciation of Top 40’s popular music from the past 60 years.
Experience with music notation, reading music at a high level, and assessing talent of reading and non-reading musicians.
Experience in entertainment production or entertainment management.
Will oversee all elements of projects to full completion.
Strong ability to multitask at a high level with all logistics in a creative environment.
Proficiency in Google Office Suite and/or Microsoft Office, Airtable, Slack, and HubSpot.
Energetic, works well with a wide range of people.
Showing hyper-focused attention to detail on several projects at once.
Work well independently and with others.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
