The graduate program at the Gabelli School of Business is seeking to hire a team of freelance facilitators to lead a portfolio of existing workshops designed to enhance graduate students’ leadership skills. During these hands-on experiential workshops, facilitators will help students increase their active knowledge of effective and ineffective leadership practices, build their capacity to excel in the workplace, gain access to additional resources to meet their ongoing educational needs, and support meaningful long-term behavior change as the future business leaders of tomorrow.


Essential Responsibilities:

Facilitate a portfolio of business-focused workshops on a diverse range of topics including self-assessment, emotional intelligence, social intelligence, teamwork, presentation skills, and problem-solving

Flex to meet students’ diverse learning styles, developmental needs, academic backgrounds, and professional interests

Utilize a variety of pedagogical tools and methodologies to develop students’ in-depth and applied knowledge of each subject area.

Monitor and evaluate students’ intellectual and developmental progress throughout their learning journeys

Prepare and maintain current and accurate metrics of student participation and learning

Maintains a current knowledge of evolving market and industry trends and incorporate real-life relevant example into the workshops

Required Experience:

Exceptional facilitation, communication (written & oral), interpersonal, and listening skills

Outstanding ability to flex one’s style to adapt to diverse stakeholders

Extremely energetic, personable, motivated, and creative

Advanced degree (masters/doctorate) preferred
