Feinstein’s/54 Below is currently seeking a Spring programming intern!
Feinstein’s/54 Below interns are part of the small programming team that books world class artists and produces unique concerts at Broadway’s Supper Club.
– Handling nightly artist hospitality at Feinstein’s/54 Below
– Assisting Programming Team administratively during office hours
– Keeping artist files and organizing artist contracts
– Researching potential new artists and series
– Attending and taking minutes at programming meetings
– Errands and answering phones
Term: January 2020 – June 2020.
Interns work 5-6 shifts (approx 40 hours) per week, alternating between office hours and night time hours. In addition to artist related and administrative tasks, interns are invited to seminars at Feinstein’s/54 Below’s management company, Richard Frankel Productions/Frankel Green Theatrical Management, during which staff members and other theatrical professionals discuss specific topics. Internships at Feinstein’s/54 Below have proven to be a great starting point for many theatre management professionals. Interns attend all weekly operational and programming meetings, learn how to track sales reports, and gain management experience. A weekly $100 travel/food reimbursement is provided.
Ideal candidates have experience in theatre/company management as well as musical theatre knowledge. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs is recommended. Interns must be self-starters, organized, possess excellent communication, writing, and problem solving skills, have the ability to thrive in a high paced work environment and a great sense of humor.
