Inspired by the children’s book of the same title by John Robert Allman, the story follows young Margie Hammond’s visit to a busy NYC bookstore, where she discovers the delightful book, A Is for Audra: Broadway’s Leading Ladies from A to Z. Upon opening the book, Margie, is thrilled to discover the story has come to life! In addition to meeting all the great ladies of the stage, Margie is introduced to the wonders of theatrical history through the many iconic roles these women have played. Left with a new-found love for the stage and a Broadway dream herself, Margie purchases the book, A is for Audra, so she can relive it’s magic again and again!
