Serino Coyne LLC is a division of Omnicom Group Inc., a leading global communications company. We are a dynamic, mid-sized full-service Advertising and Marketing Agency, specializing in theatre and entertainment related accounts. 

Title: DIRECTOR OF CONTENT 

Responsibilities:

§  Oversee all content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive brand awareness, engagement, sales, and other positive fan and customer behaviors. 

§  The Director of Content’s core responsibility is to define, govern and deploy the brand story and content strategy for clients and work with various partners on the implementation of those ideas. 

§  Work with client and creative team to create and inspire content for social media platforms.

§  Review analytics and report successes and failures to set the direction of future content.

§  Act as department representative in new business development.

§  Develop content for brand experiences, conferences, panels, and other live events.

§  Ability to work closely and effectively with clients to build rapport and identify goals and key performance indicators for a successful agency-client partnership.

§  Take initiative and function effectively both independently and as a member of a team, with a willingness to take on and assist with routine and last-minute projects.

Requirements:

§  8+ years of experience in the areas of journalism, marketing, storytelling, and social media.

§  Capacity to communicate effectively at all levels, ability to lead and manage staff, be flexible, and oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously while also working effectively under the pressure of deadlines and evolving priorities.

§  Strong, team-centric leadership and management skills, and skilled in mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment.

§  Strong creative, conceptual and storytelling skills across multiple platforms a must. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

§  Experience producing content across multiple platforms with a focus on video.

§  Sharp attention to detail for grammar, spelling, and punctuation and adherence to brand guidelines.

§  A strong familiarity with social media and a passion for Broadway, the arts and culture.

§  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative team environment.

§  Ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape. 

§  Proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

§  Must be willing and able to work evening and weekend hours as needed.
