THE ROLE:

The Copywriter works with the Copy + Content Director and Executive Creative Director to deliver industry-leading writing that supports our award-winning clients. They will

treatments. The Copywriter ensures that a consistent tone is present

Work with creative leads in developing a content strategy for clients that accomplishes their marketing goals.

Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to create engaging material for broad

distribution.

Execute video and audio projects, from concept to final edit, under supervision of Copy + Content Director.

Help develop brand style guides to ensure that a client has a consistent voice across all

marketing channels.

Stay up-to-date with industry developments (advertising and Theater) and generate

new ideas to draw audiences’ attention.

REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years in copywriting and content development, ideally in an agency environment.

Experience with video production.

Passion for the New York theater, arts, and culture scene.

A true problem solver who is able to anticipate roadblocks and offer solutions.

YOUR TYPICAL DAY AT THE OFFICE:

A new creative campaign is being developed for an established musical. After

walking through the project brief with the Copy + Content Director, you partner

with the Art Director for an hour of brainstorming. An idea for a new positioning

angle pops up, which you develop through a treatment for a video content series and

outdoor ad campaign. You and the Art Director confab over her sketches and your

scripts, refining the ideas into a cohesive, 360 campaign. When you arrive back at

your desk, there is a content calendar from the Social Media Manager waiting for

your review. After providing some notes, you start work on a radio script for a different

client. You leave the office mid-afternoon so that you can record a video interview

with a cast member, for use in an upcoming digital advertising campaign.

HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS?

The ideal Copywriter will take great pride and satisfaction in seeing their

flawless work out in the world. They will constantly test creative boundaries in the

pursuit of the best possible solution for a show’s key marketing moments, while also

celebrating the ongoing writing needs that are required for ongoing success.
