The Photographer / Videographer position serves as the in-house photographer and videographer for WTF’s summer season. We are looking for a talented individual – preferably with theatre experience – with a strong creative drive and extreme attention to detail. They must possess the skill and temperament to juggle a complex shooting schedule. The Photographer/Videographer will walk away from a successfully completed season with an impressive portfolio of video work and an expanded network of artists and designers. This seasonal position reports to the full-time WTF Communications Coordinator. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Concept developing, shooting, AND editing video and photo content to be used for Festival promotion and marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and other platforms
  • Being present for and executing the archival video shoots for all Main Stage and Nikos Stage productions
  • Video and Photo editing and post-production video work
  • Managing tight deadlines and a timely processing and editing schedule in Asana
  • Supervising, managing, and educating Video and Photo Intern(s)
  • Collaborating with members of the Marketing & Publicity team including photographer, social media, graphic designer and press in development of Festival content
  • Diligent archiving of all season video and photo content in collaboration with Video and Photo Intern(s)
  • Participating in the educational environment of Williamstown Theatre Festival
  • Other duties as assigned  

The Photographer/Videographer should have the following skills:

  • Experience filming and editing high-quality videos and photos
  • Proficient in video and photo editing workflow and preparing final video for upload
  • Knowledge of lighting, camera angles, and proper video production practices
  • Possess the ability to accept, react positively to, and provide constructive feedback in an effort to better a video or campaign
  • Should be Mac literate
