Teaching Artist – Musical Theater

Inside Broadway, currently celebrating its 37th year providing Arts in Education programs to NYC public school students in grades K-12 in all five boroughs is seeking dynamic musical theater teaching artists for immediate placements for the 2019 school year. Programs run Monday – Friday during after school hours (generally between 2:30 – 5:30) for approximately 9 weeks.
Artists must be a triple threat – able to teach choreography, voice and acting to prepare students for a musical theater production.
Applicants must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in musical theater, dance or theater and have experience working with children in schools or camps. Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills a must.

Artists must be able to travel to all five boroughs of New York City
Knowledge of the NYC DOE Blueprint in Theater a plus
Must be NYC DOE PETS Fingerprinted or willing to be fingerprinted
Car a plus
Bilingual a plus
Pay: $125 per 2-hour session
