A large musical theatre licensing company in midtown is looking for a new Assistant to the Office Manager. This is a full-time position, with physical demands as well as mental. The set hours of the position are 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday.

POSITON: ASSISTANT OFFICE MANAGER
Job Description:
The Assistant Office Manager position is responsible for assisting and implementing the directions of the office manager. The Assistant Office Manager also helps in the day to day operations of running and caring for the office and standing in as office manager in the office managers’ absence. The office in general must be functional and clean to serve the employees as well as visitors. In addition, the Assistant Office Manager should have excellent communication skills.
Duties Include:
General maintenance of the office and office property
Managing and directing temps and maintenance personnel
Accepting and signing for any mail and packages
Mail duties would include processing all mail (USPS and FedEx) for shipping
Collecting files and faxing information for the licensing representatives
Making sure office supplies and kitchen supplies are always available
Making sure the office is always neat and presentable
The Assistant Office Manager will be also be on call to do any extra projects that may need to be worked on at the discretion of the Office Manager.
Basic Skills Required:
Excellent phone/communication skills
Basic knowledge of computers, email and shipping protocols
Excellent detail-oriented organization skills
Understanding and retention of company systems and policies
Self –motivation
Able to lift 50 Lbs. from standing position
