UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS (UNCSA) School of Design and Production is seeking a qualified, professional Stage Manager who will teach in their highly successful Stage Management program. Key responsibilities are teaching courses in Stage Management, and serving as mentor and advisor to Stage Management students. The University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), School of Design and Production has a low “student to faculty” ratio and a collaborative environment. The UNCSA resident faculty is made up of artists who have distinguished careers in the profession. The faculty is encouraged to continue professional activities while employed at the School.
The University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) boasts five standalone arts conservatories — Dance, Design & Production, Drama, Filmmaking, and Music — where extraordinary young people from across the country immerse themselves in rigorous, risk-taking, and performance-heavy artistic training. One of the top theatrical design and production schools in the world, the School of Design & Production at the UNCSA delivers a profoundly creative, hands-on immersion in the entertainment industry.
UNCSA is located in Winston-Salem, NC, a progressive Southern city with a vibrant downtown renaissance and the recipient of many “Best Place to Live” honors. Winston-Salem is known as the “City of the Arts and Innovation,” in part due to the strong artistic influence of UNCSA.
