Characters are 20’s – 40’s. Masculine and tall.
Strong dancers with excellent legit voices.
Actively seeking all ethnicities. Please note –
there are no female ensemble members in
this production.

AUSTEN’S PRIDE springs to life when the
author re-imagines the world of her novel. As
the compelling love story of Elizabeth Bennet
and Fitzwilliam Darcy unfolds, Austen learns
to see both the story and herself in a new
light.

All candidates must dance, act and sing well
in a legit style . Standard British dialect
required.

WHAT TO PREPARE

Please be warmed up and ready to dance at
the beginning of call. If asked to stay and sing,
Please prepare 16 bars of a legit ballad from a
classic Broadway musical (Rodgers and
Hammerstein, Lerner and Loewe, etc). Please
no contemporary musical theatre or pop/rock.
Bring your book in case you are asked for
additional selections. Please bring a headshot
and resume.
