New York City Center is currently searching for a creative, passionate, early-career individual to join the City Center team as the Individual Giving apprentice in the Development department. 

Program Details
Through this program, apprentices will: 

Work directly with a mentor
Meet with City Center staff and artists
Participate in professional development workshops
Collaborate with other apprentices at City Center

January through May, including a paid training. Apprentices work 20 hours per week. Specific start/end dates vary. 

Apprentices are compensated $15/hour for 20 hours, totaling $300 per week. 

Job Description 
Development Apprentice, Individual Giving: 
The Individual Giving apprentice will be involved in all aspects of City Center’s fundraising activities, including membership, special events, and insitutional giving. Through this program, the apprentice will gain familiarity in donor acquisition and stewardship, event management, and database maintenance, as well as exposure to the day-to-day operations of a premier non-profit performing arts organization. The Individual Giving apprentice will assist in answering the Member Hotline so comfort on the phone is a must. Strong writing and editing skills are a plus.
