DESCRIPTION

Broadway Asia International, the premiere Producing and General Management company specializing in Broadway productions for the Asian marketplace, is seeking an Assistant Company Manager who is an energetic, intelligent, good-humored and motivated theatre professional to join our expanding management team. The Assistant Company Manager will support the Senior General Manager and Company Manager on the world premiere of a new large scale international theatrical production entitled the “Kung Fu Panda Spectacular” with a high level Broadway and Cirque creative team, premiering in Macau in the fall of 2019. 

Responsibilities include: maintenance of receipts and records of production expenses, credit card reconciliations, weekly payroll/bill processing; ensuring the well-being of the Company; travel and logistical arrangements (flights, accommodation, transfers); maintaining management and production files; database management; follow up and organization of contract processes; management of production calendars; advancement of the work permit/visa process, among other duties. 

Work will be performed in Broadway Asia International’s New York office. 

Applicants must be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, hardworking, and supremely organized. Excellent communication, time-management and organizational skills, an abundance of patience, professional manner, and a desire to collaborate are vital. Previous experience in a commercial general management office is required.  International experience and an interest in cross-cultural collaborations, particularly in Asia, is a plus. Applicants must be highly proficient in the standard Office software.  Familiarity with QuickBooks a plus.
