Job description
The Administrative Support Specialist will anchor the front desk, welcoming clients and collaborators for meetings, manage supply orders and catering, maintain the company calendar, and assist with daily office operations with a proactive and enthusiastic demeanor.

 

The Administrative Support Specialist will also be responsible for providing crucial support to the Amateur Licensing Partners by providing front line aid to educational organizations and theaters, assisting them with securing rights for productions and providing personalized service to enhance the licensee’s creative experience.

 

The position demands strong customer service and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, have creative vision, attention to detail, and an intense dedication to the company’s core values of service to both customers and playwrights.

Key responsibilities

·         Managing daily office operations

·         Answering customer queries and processing licensing requests via phone and email

·         Any number of other department and/or company-wide administrative tasks

·         Providing support to the executive staff, such as travel arrangements and scheduling, as needed

Qualifications

Required:

·         Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an office environment

·         Mastery of Microsoft Office and Outlook, web browsing software

·         Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills

·         Creative problem-solving skills

·         Friendly, outgoing personality

·         Minimum of 65 wpm typing

Preferred:

·         Theater interest and experience

·         Customer service or front desk background a plus

This is a full-time, entry-level position in a fun and friendly, yet hard working environment. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM. Salary is commensurate with experience.
